So, unless you have already done so, you should first create a folder for the image files that you want to be hidden from the Photos app, move the images files you want to be hidden in that folder, and then tell Windows to exclude that specific folder from its index. Anybody could click "Show Hidden Photos" and reveal them or browse the Hidden Photos album. And in iPhoto the Hide command did also not really hide the photos. In order to see them in Windows Photos, the files must first be unhidden in iCloud. There has not even been a Hide command in Aperture. If you have hidden photos or videos in iCloud, they will also be hidden in the Windows Photos app. ![]() What is called "Hide" in Photos is similar to the "Reject" in Aperture, removing a photo from the view, so only higher rated photos remained visible. Apple has not even tried to implement hiding. ![]()
