I found this approach to the story slightly frustrating in Injustice 2, as being thrust suddenly into the boots of a new character meant I had to stop to learn them, and the same could be said of Tekken 7 and The Mishima Saga. The Mishima Saga takes an approach similar to the story mode in Injustice 2, changing points of view between Heihachi and his progeny, Tekken Force rebel Lars, and special guest Akuma - yes, that Akuma. Movement is more deliberate, and carelessly jumping or dashing can be disastrous. Attacks are inspired by Asian martial arts and other fighting styles from around the world, placing most of the emphasis on strikes and very little on the projectiles you typically find in other fighting games. In a pretty good time for fighting games, with Injustice 2 knocking it out of the park, Killer Instinct continuing to give us quality content years after its release, Street Fighter 5 hitting its stride after a rocky start, and a new version of Guilty Gear Xrd air-dashing our way, the King of the Iron Fist Tournament will not be outdone. On the surface, Tekken 7 is familiar, taking place on the series’ signature three-dimensional stages which allow you to move to your opponent’s sides as well as forward and back. Yet somehow it still manages to be accessible to just about anyone wanting to mash buttons, and its huge amount of customization unlocks constantly give you something to strive for beyond its silly and slightly cliched story. Tekken 7 is a love letter to this long-running franchise and its staggering complexity. Transport Canada has a list of drone flight schools on its website. Transport Canada says that drones should be flown where the pilot can see them at all times, below 122 metres, at least 5.6 kilometres away from airports and 1.9 kilometres from heliports. Drones that weigh more than 25 kilograms have their own set of rules. “Anyone with proper training and proper licensing can (now) get the perspective of Earth which was usually meant for the purview of pilots or astronauts,” he said.ĭrones that weigh under 250 grams are exempt from licensing. “Something that’s over 250 grams can definitely hurt somebody if you’re going fast enough, or cause property damage,” he told CTV Winnipeg.Ĭalgary-area drone user Chris Healy also likes the regulations, because he no longer needs special permission each time he wants to fly. Winnipeg drone enthusiast Evan Turner says he believes the government regulations “hit it pretty well on.” They must be 16 or older to take the advanced exam.įlying drones without a licence could mean fines of $1,000 for recreational users and $5,000 for commercial users. Users must be 14 years of age or older to take the basic exam. In addition to spraying crops, drones can also map and survey your crops and land to help gain a large-scale view of the land in order to try and identify any potential issues. If the drone is over 250g, youll need to follow the regulations posted. To fly your drone legally, it’s not enough just to know about drone regulations in Ontario. In order to do this, however, you will need to look into drone licenses and drone exams to be able to fly a drone legally in Canada. You must register your drone and obtain a drone pilot license with Transport Canada. The advanced category requires all of the above, plus an in-person flight review and special permission from air traffic controllers whenever flying in controlled air space. Drone regulations in Ontario are clearly laid out by Transport Canada, and these regulations make it possible for us all to enjoy our drones safely. The basic category requires passing a $10 online exam, registering with Transport Canada, marking the drone with its registration number, and carrying the pilot certificate whenever the drone is in use. The basic category is meant for people who never fly in controlled airspace or within 30 metres horizontally of bystanders. There are two different types of licences now offered by Transport Canada: basic and advanced. As of Saturday, people caught flying drones that weigh between 250 grams and 25 kilograms without a federal licence could face fines of up to $5,000. Being a very prolific fish, having at least one male and one female, your tank will quickly be full of fry that will overcrowd the aquarium. When using Guppy on your 10-gallon fish tank, the limiting factor is the same as one of its most interesting features. It is a gregarious species but can be kept solitary without problems. They are peaceful, easy to care for, can live in a wide range of parameters, and support (in emergencies) some system instabilities. Guppy FishĪn old acquaintance of hobbyists, this fish is available in many colors and patterns at virtually any aquarium store in the world. These fish will hardly adapt to 10 gallons. When choosing species, preferably those that are hardy, resistant to parameter fluctuations, small in size, and not very active.Īvoid large, territorial, aggressive, sensitive fish or fish that require very specific conditions. Fish Species You Can Keep In A 10 Gallon Fish Tank SetupĪs stated earlier, there are several species that you can comfortably keep in a 10-gallon tank. This problem is combative through the correct dimensioning of the filtering system and also through frequent maintenance. This causes above-optimal concentrations. The little volume of water will not have sufficient capacity to disperse organic matter, ammonia, and other unwanted compounds naturally generated in aquariums. The main problem with the small volume of water is the rapid changes in parameters that the aquarium can undergo. This is a factor you should consider when designing your future aquarium. With the decorations, plants, equipment, and substrate, the size available for the animals to swim freely will be even smaller. This is due to the small physical space available and the low volume of water.Īs for physical space, 10 gallons represent the actual volume. That way, you avoid fights and problems.Īquarium stocking is, of course, the main limiting factor in 10-gallon fish tanks. Larger and more aggressive fish like Bettas and Dwarf Gouramis should be kept alone. You can keep small fish like Chilli Rasboras in a relatively large number (around 16 to 20 individuals), and along with these fish, you can also keep a few shrimp. Each fish has a specific size, behavior, and needs. The number of fish to keep in a 10-gallon tank is relative to the species of fish you want to keep. How Many Fish Can You Keep In A 10 Gallon Fish Tank Setup? Maintenance is also simpler due to the small volume of water to be changed. 10-gallon fish tanks are a low-cost alternative, especially when purchasing equipment, products, and decorations. The greater the tank volume, the greater the number of products and time spent on maintenance, such as water changes and cleaning. Larger aquariums can be costly in financial and labor terms. Aquariums have proven anti-stress effects and can be a great addition to your routine. This fact is one of the main reasons for the growing popularity of nano aquariums.ĭue to its reduced size, it is a great option to place this type of tank in a small apartment, in our workplace, or even in a bathroom. With the increasing growth of large urban centers, the spaces available for housing are getting smaller and smaller. One of the interesting factors is that due to the small dimensions, 10 gallon tanks can be kept in several places. These larger species should be kept alone, or with invertebrates if possible. Most species to be kept in these aquariums are considered medium-sized fish, up to a maximum of 4 inches in size. It is even possible to set up a community aquarium or more complex setups such as biotopes or a planted aquarium. Even though they’re relatively small, as long as you follow some basic procedures, you won’t have problems with instability or poor water quality like smaller tanks.Īn interesting part is that in these aquariums a multitude of species of fish, plants, and invertebrates can be kept. Why Choose A 10 Gallon Fish Tank Setup?ġ0-gallon tanks, despite their small volume, are very versatile aquariums. So, if you want the perfect size to get the hang of the basics of fishkeeping, without feeling overwhelmed with a larger tank, read this guide. Not only is it small enough to fit in almost any space, but it is also easy to maintain and customize with decorations. It offers many advantages over something larger and can make a great addition to your living room or office. They Have A Ring About Them 96 Comments We’ve seen other wireless controller adapters over the years, too – like the wild BlueRetro build. It’s by no means a simple hack, and the MicroZed is far from cheap, but it works and works well as shown in the video below. With Petalinux running on the board, it interfaces with the Xbox 360 USB wireless controller interface, and then sends the data out over a custom “network” driver that sends packets to the Dreamcast over the Maple bus. landed on the MicroZed 7010, a System on Chip that also packs an FPGA on board. Instead, a dedicated USB host was needed to speak to the 360 controller and also the Dreamcast. It was also too slow to reliably work, as the Dreamcast’s Maple controller bus expects updates every millisecond, else it considers the controller disconnected. If this sounds esoteric and messy, that’s because it is. It was time to bring the 360 Wireless controller to Sega’s swansong.Įarly attempts by involved a Windows computer acting as a USB host for the 360 controller, which would then send out commands back to the Dreamcast via a Cypress EZ-USB FX2 microcontroller. was no fan of the Dreamcast’s original controller, and the cable was too short to boot. Eliminating the risk of tripping over cords and enabling play in all manner of poorly ergonomic positions, they added huge comfort to the console gaming experience. If you would like to see more designs from NiftyModz, check out their YouTube channel and give them a follow on Twitter!īig thanks to NiftyModz for sending this controller out for review.Perhaps the greatest convenience feature of modern consoles is the wireless controller. The finished product is much better than I ever thought it would be. Overall, I am really liking the controller. I found the paddles a nice addition and will also find it hard to play without them now that I have gotten used to them. When I used the controller for the first time, I went through and checked that all of the buttons, triggers, thumbsticks, and paddles worked as they should – which they did. The paddles fit nicely in with the way you hold the controller and are not intrusive in any way. He had included the paddles on the back and had assigned them to the buttons that I chose – in this case, X and Y. Just a very smooth and glossy finish, which is what you would expect.įlipping the controller over, there was even more goodness. The paint job itself is very high quality with no drip marks or roughness. He had included the XBLGamerhub logo on the left side of the controller and my gamertag, in a really nice font, on the right side. The marble green that he had used as the main shell colour was gorgeous, and coupled with the all pink inserts and buttons, the colours just matched each other so well. When I first saw my controller, I was instantly impressed. Armed with these few details, he went to work. I mentioned that I would like my favourite colour in there somewhere (green), my gamertag (TootieTazzy), and the logo for the site that I am Community Manager for (XBLGamerhub). I spoke with Ben from NiftyModz via email to let him know what I would like on the controller. So when I asked the fine folk over at NiftyModz if it would be possible to review one of their controllers and they agreed, I began looking forward to it. Everyone likes to have something that represents them in one or another, whether it be a snazzy new phone case or a custom designed controller for your favourite gaming console. The speaker had a red and black wire coming out of it which I've verified as standard +. The piezo from the kit is clearly labeled with a "+" on one side along with a long leg. One came with an assortment of sensors and stuff that came with arduino from makershed, and the other is a small salvaged speaker from an old digital camera. I don't have data sheets for the piezos that I have. send the string "Knock!" back to the computer, followed by newlineĭelay(100) // delay to avoid overloading the serial port buffer if the sensor reading is greater than the threshold: read the sensor and store it in the variable sensorReading: Serial.begin(9600) // use the serial port PinMode(ledPin, OUTPUT) // declare the ledPin as as OUTPUT Int ledState = LOW // variable used to store the last LED status, to toggle the light Int sensorReading = 0 // variable to store the value read from the sensor pin * 1-megohm resistor attached from analog in 0 to groundĬonst int ledPin = 13 // led connected to digital pin 13Ĭonst int knockSensor = 5 // the piezo is connected to analog pin 0Ĭonst int threshold = 100 // threshold value to decide when the detected sound is a knock or not * - connection of the piezo attached to ground * + connection of the piezo attached to analog in 0 "knock" to the serial port, and toggles the LED on pin 13. I'm following tutorial and code found at arduino cc/en/Tutorial/Knock which is also included with the arduino software. I'm trying to make a very simple knock sensor out of a piezo and it just wont give me anything. I took a break back for about a year but am back currently playing to get high elo in different servers :) (I had 5K hours in DOTA before playing league). I started playing league recently at the end of s9 and have peaked MASTERS ELO mainly playing Irelia and Renekton in CN IONIA. My name's ATARAS and I'm a MASTERS PEAK in CHINA'S IONIA server. post-6 this dude will F your team up so try your best to get a lead, YOU DEFINITELY WIN once you get BORK but as said, you can win before that too, just don't get outpoked. also look into legend:bloodline for lifesteal if you can swap that out for tenacity. go second wind and potentially merc treads first? (depending on enemy JG and comp too) but get vamp sceptor asap as usual so you can sustain his poke. ranged matchups ARE easier on irelia than on most other top champs so you have that going for you. if you all-in and fail at lvl 1-2-3, you're gonna have a tough time to pick a plan and commit to it according to the situation. if you can get an early lead (which is only really possible if kennen isn't prepared) by Q'ing to him early (but not at the expense of a potential cheater recall), then do so, otherwise you should lay it back and let him push into you if you can't. ask about the matchup if you want!Ī good kennen will make this matchup so sad as you watch yourself get outpoked and sometimes out all-inned. it's one of those shove-and-roams and kill their squishies type of game here. i'd venture to even say post-divine/trinity/bork, jax will start schooling you in 1v1s and that's even if you're ahead at all because if both players make no mistakes, jax will always win it the champ is just a better duelist. the only reason why i say it's irelia's "worst matchup as a whole" is because he outscales THE SHIT out of you in the sidelanes. obviously if jax uses E and it's on CD you should look for trades/all-ins. if you play around minions and hit your stun, you can beat him. hopefully you can use that W to hit him AND some minions, stack up your stacks and start trading/all-inning depending on how both your HPs look. if you can't (or can't risk having Q on cooldown) that's okay -> USE W and hold it while he's auto'ing you so he does less DMG. walk AWAY and kite jax's counterstrike if he uses it. the only way you beat him is if jax is stupid and i mean it. Jax is arguably the worst champ irelia can go against as a whole. sorry, wish i could tell you more on how to beat this mf. truly, truly an impossible matchup if he has half a brain. just know that if he has ignite, it don't matter if he's 0-3. if your jungler comes by when voli is pushing (which is likely cause of his electric passive) and it can lead to a kill? then take advantage of it. ideally, you don't get hit by it in the first place though. if his Q hitting you is inevitable, W it. never let him get a 2nd W on you and always save a Q or prepare to sidestep his E. you genuinely do not win this matchup in any way except maybe the 1st three waves by getting lane prio and minion advantage (my guide will teach you that if you continue reading). focus his carries and squishies, not him. my best tips would be to just farm and focus on the mid-game+ shove and roam. idk how else to beat him as he shreds almost all melee matchups. in my experience i've only ever won lane VS volibear when i play so passive that they die under my tower trynna get something. unplayable unless he's dumb or you're ultra patient. Third, you can see all the exif and other info as you browse and compare. The auto mark function can make use of most all the exit and IPTC info to do comparisons for marking, which is great if you know what you want to constitute as a dupe to delete. And use stuff like size, aspect ratio, etc. So you can extract duplicates, similar photos, or series of shots. Photo Sweeper makes it easier to do that since it's oriented to how most photographers work. And in any case, as long as you're doing it, might as well cull. Sometimes you're not looking for just the exact copy of the image, but very very very similar images. There are brackets, panorama groups, pairs, etc. There isn't really any simple or auto way to cull real duplicates for an avid photographer. Second, it has a lot of control over how you compare. I think even iPhotos and Capture One too. You can even browse within the libraries. It can look into Photos libraries, Aperture libraries, and Lr Classic libraries to find images to compare, as well as any Finder folders. That led me to Photo Sweeper X, which is quite nice, and better than either Snapselect or the Lr plugins.įirst, it works on anything. So I first tried Macphun's Snapselect, which they've since abandoned (of course). And part of my problem was that I was moving from Aperture at the time, and also had some unimported stuff that was sort of betwixt and between. First, because they seemed kind of limited, and also because in my case they only worked with images I had in Lr. I tried a couple of Lr plugins for finding dupes and didn't find them that helpful. |
